Queen's Scout Award

In this year of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee a member of the Yateley Explorer Scouts, part of the Bramshill Scout District was recently presented with the highly prestigious Queen's Scout Award by County Commissioner Adam Jollans.

Yateley resident Emlyn Price who is studying physics at the University of Manchester had previously completed the Platinum and Diamond awards of the Chief Scout and also the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver awards.

Scouts Calshot Cycling Trip

Dear Parents

Please note that in this Olympic year I have booked the activity of Cycling on Calshot velodrome.

The date is Saturday 31^st March 2012 and we will leave Yateley at around 9am

I would be grateful if you could note the detail and confirm they can attend. I will then issue you with a Calshot Medical declaration to complete.

2012 Dates for your diary

Here are some forthcoming events to put in your diary for 2012. For many of these, we we rely on parent volunteers to assist us in fundraising to enable us to keep the subscriptions low.

Yateley May Fayre: 7^th May.

Yateley Road Races, 1^st Wednesday of the month: 6^th June, 4^th July, 1^st August.

Hartley Wintney festival procession - Saturday 9^th June

Yateley Xmas Market: 24^th November.
